Canaima National Part is a national park located in Bolívar state, Venezuela
O Parque Nacional Canaima é um parque nacional localizado no Estado Bolívar na Venezuela.

It was created on June 12, 1962, and declared "World Heritage" by UNESCO IN 1994.
Ele foi criado no dia 12 de Junho de 1962, e declarado Patrimônio Mundial pela UNESCO em 1994.

It has an area of 30,000 Km2.
Apresenta área de 30.000 im2.

Little bigger than the territory of Belgium.

And for its size, it is considered the 6th largest national park in the world.

And inside the park is the "Salto Angel" waterfall, wich is the hisghest waterfall in the world, recognized by the "Guinness Word Records".

At 1979 meter, Salto Angel is more than 12 times higher than the Iguaçu Falls, whose waterfalls reach a maximum height of 80 meters.

Its fall is so high, that despite the large volume of water that comes out of its top, it is vaporized before reaching the ground, and reaches the base of the mountain, like a fine mist.

Anoter great wonder of nature, which deserves to be admired and preserved!
